What is the Spring 2021 Market Survey?

G2’s Spring 2021 Grid Report takes feedback from real software users to algorithmically rank software across different categories. Data is pulled from product reviews shared by G2 users and combined with data aggregated from online sources and social networks.

Products are given a satisfaction rating based on this data and sorted into Grid categories:

  • Leader: rated highly by G2 users and have substantial Market Presence scores
  • High Performer: high customer Satisfaction scores and low Market Presence compared to the rest of the category
  • Contender: relatively low customer Satisfaction scores and high Market Presence compared to the rest of the category
  • Niche: relatively low Satisfaction scores and low Market Presence compared to the rest of the category
