In today’s demo, we’ll walk through how to:
- Add your customized Formstack Documents invoice template to Salesforce
- Establish a trigger to send invoices when an Opportunity is set to Won
- Expand this workflow using Workato to connect your accounting software
This tutorial was inspired by Venn Techology’s own invoice generation workflow. In this example, we’re using Salesforce data to generate our invoices, but you can also use tools like Workato to connect to accounting software like Quickbooks or Sage Intacct.
If you get started with a Formstack Documents for Salesforce template or have already built your own, set up for this workflow will only take about 10-15 minutes.
