I have done legal interpreting before but am not on the Minnesota State Court Interpreter Roster. I am on the Minnesota State Court Interpreter Roster but not certified. I am court certified.

Please select what type(s) of volunteer experiences you are interested in:

Written translation, where volunteers translate legal documents, correspondence between clients and attorneys, and other relevant documentation throughout the course of a legal service. At Legal Advice Clinics, where attorneys meet with clients for 15-30 minutes to give legal advice on a variety of topics as needed. For interpreters, these shifts are 2 hours. For Full Representation Cases, where attorneys who have agreed to represent the client throughout the duration of their case will meet with clients as needed over the course of the case. The total amount of meeting time can range from 10-40 hours. Please indicate if you are interested in volunteering to interpret for the attorney-client meetings associated with a full representation case. NOTE: this does not involve interpreting in a courtroom; it only involves interpreting for attorney-client meetings.
