Please consider submitting a nomination of a worthy official whom you would recommend as a 2021-22 Game Official of the Year

Criteria for Selection:

Anyone (Principals, AD’s, Coaches, Athletes, Parents, etc) has the opportunity to submit the name of one official for every sport offered in their district, in each of the three sport seasons. Spring officials can be nominated based on their performance from the previous year.

Game Management Skills …is the official a role model and mentor for the Education Athletics Philosophy, which is the cornerstone for the MIAA’s interscholastic experience?
Did the official provide a positive experience for all players, coaches and spectators?
Number of years officiating should not be a primary consideration. The official’s performance, commitment to the profession, development of skills for officiating, and dedication to the value of Educational Athletics should be the basis for recommendations
Must be an active official in a MIAA sanctioned sport. Prior winners cannot be nominated again. Click HERE for MIAA Official of the Year history
