Video Submission Guidelines.

As you make your video, make sure you answer each question in order. You can make the video on your cell phone, tablet, etc. We will be making decisions based on your answers, not the quality of the video. Your video should be 2-5 minutes long. Please make sure you answer all narrative questions, and say which question you are answering (preferably in order).

You will need to upload your video to Youtube or Vimeo and then share that with us. (You can find instructions for creating a Youtube channel here. You can create a Vimeo account here. You will still need to fill out the other parts of the application - have the link to your video ready to share in the online form. Be sure to make the videos Public or Unlisted onYouTube.

Please answer the following questions in order.

1. Why are you interested in this opportunity to create a project around guaranteed income?
2. What experience do you have working on civic or community issues?
3. How has any of your previous artistic work engaged community? This could be from passive engagement such as audience viewing, to active engagement such as people participating in the project.

Applicant Work Samples Info

Work Samples (minimum 2 required, and up to 4 accepted)

1. Work Samples List: A minimum of two (2) total work samples are required, but we will accept up to (4). This applies to an individual or team submission. In the field below, create a Work Samples List that includes the following information for each sample. For example:

Work Sample #1:

  • Title of work
  • Year
  • Materials (if applicable)
  • Short description 


2. For Video and Audio samples, provide URL links (do not upload files) of up to 4 work samples of your artistic practice or process (4 total for a team as well). You will need to upload your video to Youtube or Vimeo and then share the URL links with us. (You can find instructions for creating a Youtube channel here. You can create a Vimeo account here.

3. For Image and Text files: Upload up to 4 work samples of your artistic practice or process (4 total for a team as well). Please upload jpg or pdf files only in the fields below. Image files should have a resolution of 72 ppi, with 1920 pixels on the longest side. Combined file sizes cannot exceed 20 MB. Name your files using the following format:

Artist Last Name_Sample#1.jpg
Artist Last Name_Sample#2.jpg (and so forth.)
