Please refer to the venue ground plan and technical specification for your assigned venue and and submit a detailed ground plan in the attachment field at the bottom of this form.

If possible, also submit photographs of the set or model.

If you will require any additional overhead rigging points, support structures or special requirements please note them below.

If you are sharing transport with other companies or offering space to other companies on your vehicle please give us the details below so we can plan set storage and movement during the Festival.

LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS

Please supply a detailed lighting plan specific to the venue specifications and plans provided. Please include circuit numbers and practical units as this will allow us to efficiently plan the cabling requirements for the venue.

If you have any specific equipment requirements please note them below. Unfortunately the National Arts Festival does not supply colour calls however please contact us should you require frame sizes specific to the equipment in your venue.

While we are aware that some productions will still be in rehearsals in the lead up to the Festival we ask that you supply a draft lighting plan no later than the 20th of June.

SOUND REQUIREMENTS

In most venues the provided sound equipment is suitable only for standard playback with monitors. Depending on the terms of your contract with the Festival the Technical Office will either source any additional requirements for you or negotiate on your behalf with our local supplier. Please supply us with a detailed sound rider or give details below of any additional sound equipment required.

PROJECTION EFFECTS

Please give a full description of any Audio Visual effects used in your show. Provide details of what equipment you will be bringing in and indicate on the lighting plan where your projector will be rigged. Depending on the terms of your contract we can either arrange to hire or negotiate the hire of any additional equipment on your behalf. Please bear in mind that we will require a generous lead time to order any specialised equipment.

AV requirements

RISK ASSESSMENTS AND SPECIAL EFFECTS

The National Arts Festival is now required by law to submit a risk assessment for each production appearing on the Festival, to facilitate this a template form is available on our website.

If your production makes use of any special effects, including but not limited to; firearms, water effects, fire effects, onstage smoking, live animals or aerial effects, there is a separate form that must also be completed.

To facilitate our planning please give a brief description of any special effects or unusual requirements below.
