You’ve designed a gorgeous event flyer. Don’t confuse things by adding “To register, visit” at the end. All these random characters are good to keep malicious parties from guessing your forms’ URLs. But these links are not awesome for sharing because, get this, few folks can guess or remember the characters. Instead, create a user-friendly URL!

Change #1

First, we want to remove the “?123” section in the example above. It’s super easy with just three quick steps:

  • Go to My Account.
  • Select URLs.
  • Write a URL Alias. This will show up on all of your forms, so company name is a good choice. For example, if your account is for Acme, Inc., you might use “acme_inc” as your URL Alias.

Change #2

Now we can alter the “ABCDEFGHIJ” portion of the example link above. Just follow these simple instructions:

  • Select your form.
  • Choose the “Settings” tab.
  • Under the “General” menu, you’ll find a URL field. (Note: This will only appear after you’ve made Change #1.)
  • Type in your form name. For our example, let’s say “contact.”

Voila! You’ve created a custom URL for your form. Our mouthful of a URL at the beginning has converted to “” Much better.

If you want to fully customize your URL including the domain, you can embed the form into your website. Read more here. Have any questions or comments about this process? Let us know in the comments below!
