Whether you are working with a committee of volunteers or coworkers, organization and communication will help you work more efficiently. Don’t worry—you don’t have to deal with a thousand “reply all” emails. If you are coordinating an awards ceremony, check out these great online tools to ensure that the event goes off without a hitch.

Magisto is a simple way to create brief slideshows of photos and video clips. All you do is upload your media and it does the rest, magically creating a unique movie that contains a soundtrack and non-cheesy effects. It does have limits: free users can upload up to 10 videos and 10 photos per movie, and paid users can include up to 25 video clips and 30 photos per movie. You also have to pay to download the movie if you need offline access. All in all, Magisto is definitely worth checking out if you want to have an impressive slideshow for your awards ceremony.

Remember the Milk
Remember the Milk has been around for years and is great for organizing tasks. Most people think of it as a personal to-do list, but you can use it for managing groups, too. It’s free, intuitive, and available as a mobile app. What makes Remember the Milk especially useful for organizing a group is its integrations, including Evernote and Google Calendar. If you have a centralized place for all of your tasks, your committee will be more focused and you’ll have a better grasp on what still needs to be done.
