The holiday decorations are already appearing in stores, reminding us the end of 2014 will be here before we know it. What does that mean? Time to jumpstart your planning for next year’s biggest and best marketing events!
Conferences mean professional development for employees, lead generation for your brand, and fun for everyone. With the digital landscape changing faster than ever, there’s bound to be new, creative strategies to learn next year.
So polish up those business cards and begin budgeting for next year’s tickets and sponsorships. We’ve narrowed down Formstack’s top six picks to put on your company’s must-attend (or, at least, consider) list for the first quarter of 2015:
1. Social Media Strategies Summit February 10-12 | Las Vegas, NV
What happens in Vegas stays with your marketing team. Send them to this conference, and ask every question you’ve ever had about social strategy. Next year’s summit promises a lineup of lessons your social media marketers can implement right away.
2. SMX West March 3-5 | San Jose, CA
From bootcamps to advanced tracks, the Search Marketing Expo (SMX) is designed to fit all levels, from beginners to agency veterans. With a focus on all kinds of search marketing—organic, paid, social, mobile, and more—this conference includes keynotes from Google Search Chief Amit Singhal and Search Engine Land’s Danny Sullivan.
3. Adobe Summit March 9–13 | Salt Lake City, UT
There’s truly something for everyone at Adobe’s Digital Marketing Conference. Attendees will be able to choose from more than a hundred sessions and nine tracks. Topics range from analytics to advertising and social to email marketing.
4. ClickZLive March 30 – April 2 | New York, NY
ClickZ’s global series kicks off (or should we say continues?) in New York next March with a series of training sessions designed for marketers of all levels. We’ve mentioned this one before, but word on the street is it’s worth recommending again.
5. The Marketing Nation Summit April 13-15 | San Francisco, CA
First, there are the speakers: Industry celebrities (think Ann Handley and Hillary Clinton) representing big brands (like Axciom) and answering all your questions about modern-day marketing. Then there’s the audience: more than 6,000 attendees for networking and 100+ digital marketing sponsors with some serious swag.
6. WordCamp Multiple Dates | Various Locations
These one-day intensive training sessions cover all things WordPress-related (like Formstack integrations!), with tracks for newbies as well as developers. We recommend checking the schedule regularly, as new ones are added as soon as dates are selected. More than a dozen camps are currently being planned for locations across the world, from Mumbai to Maui.
