Using Online Forms to Plan Your Summer Party

With the weather getting warmer and summer quickly approaching, it’s time to get out your grill and invite some friends over for that summer cookout, pool party or any other kind of get-together. Planning a party can be stressful at times, trying to figure out a date and time that works for everyone, knowing who is bringing what, and even figuring out a location.

Using an online form can help you keep your event organized. To get started, you can create a small survey that will allow your guests to choose which dates they will be able to attend. After the date has been chosen, you can ask for suggestions on where the event should take place. This will give you some great ideas for your party and for any events you have in the future. After you have the date and location, you can use an online form with options of items to bring.  Formstack has a great feature, called a unique field, that will delete a certain option once it has already been chosen.  Once one of your attendees chooses to bring an item, that item will no longer show up on your form.  This will eliminate any chance of multiple people bringing the same item to your event. Go ahead! Play with the form below to see how this feature works. You can also watch a short video at the end of this post on how to set the form up.

Using these online form features lets your guests be more involved in the event planning process, and the data features in your account keep all your information stored in one convenient place to help keep you organized.

Do you have a fun way of using your online forms? If so, be sure to share some of your ideas below.
