The great thing about online forms is the ability to quickly manage them without much of the hassle of paper or printed forms. One way to easily manage your web forms is having the ability to disable them based on the number of submissions or on a certain time or date. The Form Deactivation feature allows you to set up your forms right from the start allowing you to manage them with little or new manual intervention.
Deactivation of Forms Based on Time
Deactivating a form at a certain time is perfect for those who are running contests and promotions that expire at a certain day and or time. For example you want to run a contest through the 1st of September at midnight. By using the deactivation feature you can simply enter September 1, 12:00 AM and the form will automatically be disabled. The form will deactivate according to the time zone in your admin profile.
Deactivation on the Number of Submissions
Sometimes you don't need to cut a form off at a certain time or date, but rather after a certain number of people have submitted information. For example, if you are holding a networking breakfast that can only seat 200 people. You can use the deactivation feature by disabling the form after you have received 200 submissions. This allows you to not have to manually check your database or your emails and count how many submissions you receive. By automatically disabling the form there are no embarrassing emails to people telling them you overbooked or rushing to try to seat, accommodate for people than you planned for because of a clerical error.
