Creating New Forms

Creating forms with Formstack is easy. You can choose to start with a blank form, copy the HTML of a current form, or use one of our pre-built templates to create online forms and adjust the fields you need accordingly.

Building a Form

The simple drag and drop interface of our online form builder allows you to easily create forms and add any type of form element (Text fields, email field, file upload...etc). Using the tools on the left hand side, you can manage your field types, add sections, and rearrange your fields.

Using Sections

Creating Sections help break up your form. Sections are used to:

• Add explanatory text or headings to a set of fields
• Create a new page on a multi-page form
• Change the layout on some fields without changing the layout of the entire form

Creating Forms with Multiple Columns

You can change the look and feel of your form by adding multiple columns. Within the online form builder you can create online forms with up to four columns.

Use Supporting Text and Callouts to highlight important fields or give users more directions when filling out your form.

The easiest way to access your form is to use the provided link to your online form. Simply link to it from your website, email newsletters or on other partner websites.
